Glenn Transit Dial-A-Ride Program
The Glenn Transit Dial-a-Ride is a specialized transport system for eligible Glenn County residents who are unable to access the public transport system, “Glenn Ride Bus.”
General eligibility information, availability and cost:
- Eligibility Criteria
- Seniors 60 years of age or older
- Persons with disabilities
- Low-income receiving Social Service Assistance
- Low-income Non-Assistance
- You must present your Transit Service Card for all transportation
- The rides are available in a limited area:
- 1.5 radius of the respective Orland or Willow City Hall to the Cannella/Huggins Drive area
- Leisure Mobile Home Park on State Route 32, and Willow Glenn Mobile Home Park, west of Willows, on State Route 162
- Rides cost $3.00 with prior day reservation and $5.00 for same day service
- Rides must be paid in cash (exact change only) to the Driver (transit service card must be presented prior to the trip). Personal Care attendants ride free.
- Punch cards are available (purchase from driver with exact change, or from the Paratransit Office, 258 N. Butte Street, Willows.) Must be 18 or older to purchase.
- Suspension of service
- We reserve the right to suspend service to those who misuse the service. This may include failing to show up for rides, excessive cancellations, failure to pay, etc. We understand that you may have situations beyond your control, such as a personal emergency or worsening illness, and these do not fall under "misuse."
